Our History
Founded in the heart of the mid-twentieth century, when craftsmanship was an expectation, Hicks Industrial Roofing, Inc. began its journey amidst a landscape of lasting construction and principled production. With a humble start in 1947, Frank and Anne Hicks set the cornerstone of what was to become not only a business but a legacy, operating from a small building with nothing but an orange crate as their desk. Their unwavering commitment to trust and quality would soon become the lifeblood of Hicks Roofing.
In an era that gradually leaned towards disposability over durability, Hicks Industrial Roofing stood as a stalwart champion of the old ways. Embodying a dedication to a time when buildings were crafted to stand the test of centuries, the company offered an antidote to the emerging trend. Frank Hicks’ embodiment of honesty and integrity became synonymous with the Hicks name, building an excellent reputation and gradual expansion of the company.
A Business Spanning Four Generation
The tale of Hicks Industrial Roofing, Inc. is one of generational torch-passing; when Frank Hicks became ill, it was his son, Dennis, who stepped away from his college education to guide the company reins. Dennis Hicks infused the business with the honesty, and integrity instilled by his father.
Carrying forward this lineage of quality and principle, Dennis’ son Mike entered the scene in 1982. In 1999 Mike became the third-generation leader of Hicks Roofing, exuding pride and perpetuating the Hicks tradition of exceptional service and quality dedication.
